Go for it

This book is a brilliant refresher for anyone in the development space who's looking to know and curious to find the financial side of Sustainable Development and the journey of financial growth till today. It touches on so many critical areas and fundamental concepts with nuances from finance, sustainable investing, carbon markets, IPCC, Article-6,9, CABM, and carbon pricing, banking, macro economy, start-ups, AI, ESG, various case studies, to business models, UN conventions and many more. It's packed with insights, yet doesn't bore you and is super convenient to read. What I really loved is how Nishant connects it all together by introducing more than two fictional characters and makes it interactive throughout with Kish and Carolina, which gives a unique touch like a novel to it. It also gives nostalgia, with smart twists, college vibes, canteen discussions where it makes the book engaging and different from the usual static reads one may find on the shelves. It doesn't feel like a textbook at all, but one may use it like. I would really recommend this book for individuals who are working in this niche sector like; NGOs, think tanks, research institutions or academics and consulting, etc., want to understand the evolution of sustainable financing. Big shout-out and congratulations, Nishant Malhotra ! Gaurav Sahni, Seasoned Climate Professional"

It’s especially valuable for students, young professionals, and general readers seeking an approachable entry point into global development and social finance. The book educates and inspires by making complex development finance concepts more accessible through narrative and design. While the breadth of topics means some areas aren’t explored in great depth, the book succeeds as an educational and inspiring primer.
